Beta Phi's cherish life-long friendships rooted in kindness, love and respect for one another. We believe in the concept of Watchcare - a program for our sisterhood which encourages support of one another through anything, whether helping one another with academics or providing much needed support during a rough time.
Since our founding, innovation has been one of the cornerstones of Beta Phi Zeta and of our leaders. Beta Phi work hard to enact positive change. Beta Phi's are focused on breaking the confines of the box to bring creativity and betterment to the world.
Beta Phi fosters the qualities of strong character that distinguish our members and our sisterhood, including compassion, integrity and sincerity. In Beta Phi, all members learn to lead by example through their actions and communication. They set expectations high for themselves and each other, and strive diligently to meet them.

As an official member of Beta Phi Zeta there are a variety of milestones you can complete. These milestones are intended to ensure an enriched sorority experience for our members that encourages collaboration and character development. Each milestone completed earns its own special prize, and iron-on patch or enamel pin as a reward for continued dedication and commitment to our sisterhood. Collect as many pins and patches as possible as you work towards earning your coveted DBA Alumni jacket.
Please note that you must graduate from DBA University AND join DBA Alumni in order to complete the milestone that earns your official DBA Alumni jacket.

As a graduate and alumni of the Design Biz Academy Semester 2, Sophie brings a unique perspective that enables her to provide educational mentorship and emotional guidance to current and prospective members. In her role as the House Mom, she plays a crucial part in planning educational programming, sisterhood bonding activities, and providing administrative support to The Brief Collective, ensuring the well-being of all members and fostering a strong sense of community.
Sophie's favorite aspect of being the Beta Phi House Mom is the opportunity to serve as a mentor, caretaker, and advocate for all sorority sisters. She recognizes the significant role that the sorority plays in shaping the experiences and future successes of its members, and is dedicated to cultivating a nurturing and empowering environment where members can thrive both personally and professionally.

House Mom Happy Hour is a biweekly, 1-hour extension of our After Dark calls hosted by the Beta Phi Zeta House Mom. These meetings are non-recorded safe-spaces for all Beta Phi sisters, including DBA Alumni, to join and let their hair down.
During this time we put all business-talk on the back burner to instead focus on self-care, and forming deeper connections with our sisters. Much like a Girl’s Night Out, these meetings are relatively unstructured, and the way the night pans out is entirely up to the group’s energy and level of participation.
